SUMMARY:Understand yourself better – Practice self-empathy
DESCRIPTION:\nLife can be overwhelming. Sometimes nothing goes as it supposed to, everybody wants something from you and everything irritates you “without a reason”… When you are in a hurry or stress, tired or with too many deadlines, it is very easy to overreact and say something you will regret later.\nVery often people wonder if there is a way to calm down quickly to stay patient and open to other people, even if we are not in the best shape. They ask: “How not to react automatically?”, “How can I pause for a moment and answer in the way that will not endanger my relationship?”. Do you ask these kind of questions as well?\nIf yes, I have a great tool for you called self-empathy.\nSelf-empathy helps us to connect with our feelings and needs – to be more aware of what is so important to us that we get triggered almost immediately. It also allows to check what kind of story we tell ourselves, to name the facts (what exactly happened) and look for different solutions.\n\nIf you take part in this workshop you will:\n– get to know the definition of self-empathy and how to use it in everyday life;\n– learn the difference between self-empathy and self-pity;\n– broaden your vocabulary describing feelings and needs;\n– learn different tools to connect with your feelings and needs;\n– get to know yourself better;\n– work on examples from your life and try new ways of dealing with difficult emotions.\nThis event is part of my CNVC certification process and will be visited by my assessor, Towe Widstrand, who after the workshop will give me feedback about my performance. Your participation will be a great help in my process of becoming a certified CNVC trainer!\nFor whom:\nFor people who want to understand themselves better and through that improve their relationships with others (partners, colleagues at work, friends, children, etc.). I invite people who are able to understand English. You are welcome if you know Nonviolent Communication (NVC) already and also if you are a beginner in NVC.\nHow do I work:\nThis workshop is based on Nonviolent Communication. There will be a bit of theory but I will use mainly active methods, involving all participants. We will work in the whole group, as well as in subgroups and pairs.\nWhen: 18 June 2019, 18:00-19:30\nWhere: Luntmakargatan 52, Stockholm, Sweden\nLanguage: English\nCost and registration:\nThis event is donation based. I would like to ask you to contribute to the cost of organising this event, such as renting the room, materials and coffee break. Any extra money will help finance my certification process.  Please, offer the amount that is enjoyable to you.\nBecause of the limited number of places, please, register here:\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Your name and surname (required):\n \n\n Your e-mail (required)\n \n\n I want to join Newsletter and receive interesting content in the topic of Nonviolent Communication (NVC): \nBy subscribing I agree to receive the newsletter with Empathic Way Europe offers. I know that I can easily unsubscribe at any time (Empathic Way Europe respects the privacy and take protecting it very seriously. No spam!)\n\n By registering to this event I confirm that (required):\nI have read the Privacy policy and I agree that Empathic Way Europe may use my data to send me information about this event.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMaximum number of participants: 14 people\nAbout the trainer:\nMagdalena Malinowska – empathic communication trainer and coach. She supports people in creating satisfying life and relationships (personal and professional) through individual trainings and group workshops deepening communication skills. She helps in implementing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in relationships, companies and non-governmental organisations. Her work is based not only on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) created by Marshall B. Rosenberg, but also on non-formal learning methods and on Coaching for Transformation approach.
