DESCRIPTION:For many of us it feels vulnerable to step into imagining, guessing, and then checking with another person what may be going for them: what if our attempt is not received? For many of us, especially those who are not part of NVC communities, receiving empathy can also feel vulnerable, because the practice of empathy asks of us to connect at a different level, to reveal what is truly going on for us. \nWhen there are power differences, these challenges increase. The stakes are higher while the trust is often lower.
