SUMMARY:Julia Wight – Reimagining Resilience
DESCRIPTION:\nDo you long for gentleness in the face of your fatigue?\nDo you so desire hearing a sweet yes to your requests for help?\nThis workshop will focus on discovering and connecting to the sweet spot of resilience, by bringing our need for self-advocacy and self-compassion closer together.\nThrough an NVC lens, we will look at reimagining the sweet spot, (aka. The Safe Spot), on our personal spectrum of resilience.\nHonouring the diversity and variety of the resilience experience of life. From being overstretched and under-resourced, exhausted and burnt-out, to our longing for deep resourcing, rest, and rejuvenation, to the actual experience of safety and agency.\nThrough an experiential process, participants will learn how to connect to their own personal resilience. Reimagining a healthy resilience that has balance, a profound respect for the rhythm of life, and an honouring of what is true about who we are!\n\nThe objectives of the workshop are to better understand:\n– how to identify moments of destabilized or unhealthy resilience,\n– how to welcome ourselves in our reality AND find balance,\n– how to move towards this balance, even when life is demanding otherwise.\nThis workshop is for participants of all levels, who are curious about building stronger and safe personal and relational spaces – to learn more about rehumanizing ourselves with care and compassion.\n \n\n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2023]\n\nWhen: 6 March 2023, 18:15-19:45 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nRecording:\nMost of the workshops during “Time for Empathy” are not recorded, so the only possibility to take part in it is to join the session. The sessions that will be recorded, we will make available to others if the quality is satisfying. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media. If you do not wish to be recorded, switch off your camera and microphone for the whole duration of the session.\nLanguage: English\nCost: FREE\n\nRegistration: \nTo take part in this workshop, register for the “Time for Empathy” event here: https://www.empathiceurope.com/time-for-empathy/\nNOTE: Register only ONCE to the whole event and receive access to all “Time for Empathy” workshops organised from 5 to 12 March 2023.\n\nAbout the trainer:\n\nJulia Wight\nOn a quest for humanity.\nFor 12 years, Julia worked in international organizations where she has had the privilege of developing and implementing programs in communities in over ten countries, including Chad, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. Julia has a strong interest and experience in team development and cohesion, communication, alignment with organizational mission and values, as well as support in professional development.\nIn 2016, Julia experienced a year-long burnout. She then decided that things needed to be different and more balanced in her vocation and contribution in this world. She discovered a desire to know herself more fully!\nIn 2017, Julia left the humanitarian field and started seeing a new path towards coaching and teaching, and NVC was right there to support her as she participated in her first NVC workshop and was immediately hooked. An avid and eager learner, Julia went straight for all she could absorb in the NVC community. In 2019, she completed the Professional Master’s program in Authentic Dialogue (NVC) (37,5 intensive days) and started pursuing her trainer certification with the CNVC. In 2020, she began the Resonant Language Healing Practitioner course (with Sarah Peyton), opening her up to the neurobiological practices based on communication and deep connection and self-healing.\nJulia integrates her personal and spiritual development interests in her role as a trainer and coach, in empathic listening and accompaniment – she provides trainings, participates in conferences, and does NVC coaching.\nHer great curiosity, her sensitivity, and her compassion lead her to focus on supporting individuals in being human. People who want to improve their relationships, deepen their knowledge of themselves, be freer, and feel more connected to their inherent vitality.\nWebsite: www.breakthroughspirit.com (coming in spring 2023)\n
