SUMMARY:Empathy Circle – Experiencing Empathy in a Group Conversation
DESCRIPTION:\nWe are used to getting and giving empathy in one-to-one conversations. But what about a group setting?\nAn Empathy Circle is an easy-to-learn format which enables to practice listening and self-expression in a safe and warm atmosphere. We will learn through practice. Experienced facilitators will be there to support the participants throughout the session.\nPlease note that for the integrity of the process, we ask that you reserve to be there for the whole session (two hours).\n \n\n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2023]\n\nWhen: 11 March 2023, 18:15-20:15 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nRecording:\nMost of the workshops during “Time for Empathy” are not recorded, so the only possibility to take part in it is to join the session. The sessions that will be recorded, we will make available to others if the quality is satisfying. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media. She  regularly hosts empathy cafes within Extinction Rebellion, advocating for  building regenerative cultures including a culture of empathy\n \n \nKarolina Kubiak – Empathy Circles trainer. She introduced the Empathy Circles in Poland through the Extinction Rebellion Movement in which she is an activist.\nKaro is a facilitator of Restorative Circles. She is passionate about Regeneration Culture, especially in activist circles. She works in Amnesty International Poland as a coordinator of groups of activists.\n \n\n\nMagdalena Macińska – Empathy Circles facilitator. She is on the team of a project bringing together Poles of different views in Dialogue and Empathy Circles (tocopowiesz.pl).\nAs a translator and interpreter, she helps to spread the idea of Nonviolent Communication in Poland. In 2018 the book “The Empathy Factor” by Marie Miyashiro was published in Polish in her translation.\n \n \n
