DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nAre you new to Nonviolent Communication (NVC)?\nMaybe you have just heard about this concept or you have read some books/articles but everything is still not so clear?\nWelcome to our introductory workshop during which we will present the basics of Nonviolent Communication created by Marshall B. Rosenberg. \nBy participating in this workshop your journey as a participant of “Time for Empathy” will be easier and maybe even richer and more fulfilling.\nNVC can be described in many ways. In this introduction, we will focus on NVC as a model to facilitate connections between people through specific communication tools. \nWelcome to join us regardless if you have any previous experience in NVC or not.\n \n\n\n\n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2024]\n\nWhen:\nWe are offering this session twice to match different time zones:\n– 4 March 2024 at 9:45-11:15 am CET (Berlin time) with Cori Liebhart and Magdalena Malinowska-Berggren\n– 4 March 2024 at 20:00-21:30 CET (Berlin time) with Joachim Berggren and Paulina Orbitowska-Fernandez\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nRecording:\nMost of the workshops during “Time for Empathy” are not recorded, so the only possibility to participate is to join the session. I am offering lectures, workshops, mediation and individual training online and in person. I came into contact with NVC in 2005 and in 2009/2010 I participated in my first annual program with Friare Liv (Liv Larsson and Kay Rung). I have participated in a wide range of NVC workshops both in Sweden and abroad. Since 2010, I have been sharing and teaching NVC myself. In 2017, I became a certified NVC trainer by CNVC. My main focus within NVC has been to teach the NVC fundamentals, community building and to organize major events, such as the European and the Swedish NVC festivals. What captivates my interest lately is how we humans develop both as individuals and groups and how this evolutionary drive affects our ability to learn and integrate NVC into our lives.\nPaulina Orbitowska-Fernandez (Empathic Way Europe)\nI dream about a world in which we can have more authenticity, empathy, honesty and dialogue in our private, professional and social lives. I fulfill this dream by working as a Certified Trainer of Nonviolent Communication and eduScrum, coach, mediator, Resonant Language Practitioner and MindSonar Analyst still in training. \nI support leaders, teachers, physicians, teams, organizations and individual clients in building professional and personal relationships based on empathy, trust, dialogue and efficacy.\nMy scopes of work mainly are: empathic communication and conflict navigation, diversity and inclusion, intercultural communication, interpersonal neurobiology, agility in education, psychological safety and resilience. I co-create Empathic Way Europe team and non-profit campaigns #WidzęCzłowieka and Marathon of Empathy.\nI work in Polish, English and Spanish. \nYou will see sparks in my eyes whenever I read Latin American literature, listen to world music, and am in connection with Nature, especially while walking in the mountains. \n
