SUMMARY:Eastern Wisdom and NVC Consciousness – Reena Ginwala
DESCRIPTION:Amidst the madness of uncontrolled violence and systemic oppression, one can be constantly overwhelmed, retraumatized or shut down and go numb. Is this your experience too?\n\nWhere do you begin…\nto engage with your body, to find your voice,\nto act in ways that are in integrity with your values and\nto manifest your vision for our world!\n\nFor me, NVC as a consciousness is a lifesaver… It helps me get out of survival mode and choose to thrive.\nIn this session, I bring to you nuggets of age-old wisdom of Kabir, the mystic weaver, poet who lived in Central India, 700 years before. It’s heartwarming and healing for me to integrate this precious wisdom with principles of Nonviolent Communication to support my spiritual and healing journey. NVC as consciousness is within each person’s reach, wherever you may be on your religious and spiritual path.\nTogether let us elevate ourselves to raise the collective consciousness and rebuild hope, restore faith in our inherent humanity!\nJoin me, Reena Ginwala from India. For more info on Kabir, visit www.kabirsaamagri.org\n\n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2025]\n\nWhen: 5 March 2025, 14:45-16:15 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nRecording:\nMost workshops during “Time for Empathy” are not recorded, so the only possibility of participating is to join the session. The sessions that will be recorded, we will make available to others if the quality is satisfying. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media. If you do not wish to be recorded, switch off your camera and microphone for the whole duration of the session.\nLanguage: English\nCost: FREE\nRegistration: \nTo take part in this workshop, register for the “Time for Empathy” event here: https://www.empathiceurope.com/time-for-empathy/\nNOTE: Register only ONCE for the whole event and receive access to all “Time for Empathy” workshops organised between 2 and 9 March 2025.\n\nAbout the trainer:\nReena Ginwala\nI live in rural Dharamshala in the Himalayas in India, in close vicinity to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The energy of compassion is palpable in the air and NVC Consciousness integrated processes and tools help me live my purpose of ‘Being’ Peace, holding Community with care and hope, facilitating conflict reconciliation as a Mediator and offering my Presence to explore core needs wanting to be fulfilled with strategies that consider all needs. All this I attempt with self-care, humility and acceptance of myself as I am – ‘a work in progress’.
