DESCRIPTION:What this session offers you\nRumi’s poem “The Guesthouse“ invites us to welcome all our Feeling-Guests into our home. How can we be a great host to them?\nIn this session, we will spend quality-time with them using the framework of Core Emotions on our situation, and through visual activities, really get to know them and what they Value.\nWe will wake up these Values inside us with movement activities. And then we can activate them by offering each other Wishes.\nWhy? This can help with Shifts – to expand our Inner Space and to open us out to new Possibilities which is what Change and Growth need.\nTry this variation of Core Emotions, Values and Wishes from how we often focus instead on feelings, needs and requests.\nTo try the practices please bring if you can:-\n\n\n– Several sheets of blank paper: A4 works well and larger can be helpful\n\n\n– Colours: colouring pencils, crayons, felt pens etc\n\n\n– A black marker, different thicknesses can be helpful\n\n\n– Something to write with\n\n\n– Something to stick paper if you have it\n\n\n– A Feelings List and Needs List for reference\n\n\nEnjoy an experience of:\n\n\n– Creative tools for empathy for growth\n\n\n– Time and space for self-nurturing self-connection in empathic creativity\n\n\n– Guidance and demos\n\n\n– Practising in a supportive space\n\n\nSuitable for mostly everyone\n\n\n– You choose your level of challenge.\n\n\n– You may already enjoy exploring-discovering through creativity or you may be curious to try out learning in this way.\n\n\n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2025]\n\nWhen: 7 March 2025, 11:30-13:30 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nRecording:\nMost workshops during “Time for Empathy” are not recorded, so the only possibility of participating is to join the session. My work is trauma-informed, and I bring skills and experience from a wide range of different healing and creative modalities as I value their unique strengths. \n\nI have been supporting and teaching NVC programmes in the international NVC community for six years. What inspires me about this courageous work is that consistent practice in the NVC paradigm has repaired and nourished difficult, sometimes broken, family, friend & work relationships. \n\nHow? Because it has transformed how I feel about and make sense of three foundations: of myself, of how the world works, and of myself in the world. In this way also enlivening how I contribute towards wider social change.\nTo my understanding of life and my work, I bring:\n\n\n– An MSc in Strategy, Change & Leadership\n\n\n– 30 years  in the education, culture-heritage-arts and community development sectors, working both at the grassroots as well as leading teams in organisational change\n\n\n– 10 years developing an intentional co-housing community\n\n\n– My lived experience of intersectionality through which I embrace a systemic frame of power-diversity-equity-inclusion\n\n\n
