DESCRIPTION:In this session, we will explore what it truly means to hold space – not only for others, but also for ourselves.\nTogether, we’ll look at how self-empathy can become an intentionally held space to come back to, and how we can cultivate practices that support us from within. We will experiment with ways to create and curate an inner space that feels more spacious and gentle, more intentional and welcoming, where we can meet ourselves with warmth, care, and loving kindness.\nYou’re invited to bring a candle, pen and paper, and any other item that makes your space welcoming.\n \n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2026]\n\nWhen: 4 March 2026, 16:30-18:00 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nLanguage: English\nCost: Participating in the “Time for Empathy” sessions LIVE is, as always, free. However, if you would like to have access to the recordings, you are welcome to buy them – a special offer is available while registering for the event. Please note that not all workshops will be recorded.\nThis workshop will be RECORDED.\nNot willing to be on recordings? She integrates Nonviolent Communication with facilitative frameworks that strengthen self-organization, shared responsibility, and conscious engagement with power in groups.\nHer work focuses on the intersection of self-empathy and group process: how we can hold ourselves with clarity and compassion while intentionally shaping the spaces we participate in. She supports professionals and communities in designing relational structures that allow shared power, ownership, and collective intelligence to emerge.\nWith a background as a sign language interpreter and university lecturer, Mareidi brings practical, everyday empathy into complex interpersonal and intercultural contexts. She is part of the NVC Rising team, connecting learners from around the globe.
