SUMMARY:Thriving together: NVC and close relationships – Gesine Schrader
DESCRIPTION:What’s the secret to a healthy, growing intimate relationship? Join me to delve into the core principles of Nonviolent Communication. Discover practical ways to express your truth with honesty and listen with deep empathy, creating a resilient connection that not only survives but flourishes, rooted in love and mutual understanding.\nWhat you can expect:\nIn this session I will introduce the languages of love, including honesty and empathy. Marshall Rosenberg, the founder of Nonviolent Communication, emphasised the importance of these qualities  in intimate relationships. Honestly and vulnerably expressing what’s in your heart can create connection and be received as love. You will learn and practice how to say now ‘No’ and how to hear a ‘No’.\nWho is this for?\nThis workshop is for anyone who is looking to deepen the quality of their connections in close relationships and has done a NVC foundation training.\nWhen: 4 March 2026, 11:30-13:00 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nLanguage: English\nCost: Participating in the “Time for Empathy” sessions LIVE is, as always, free. However, if you would like to have access to the recordings, you are welcome to buy them – a special offer is available while registering for the event. Please note that not all workshops will be recorded.\nThis session will be RECORDED.\nNot willing to be on recordings? If you do not wish to be recorded, turn off your camera and microphone for the entire duration of the session. Recorded sessions will be available for purchase. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media.\nRegistration: \nTo take part in this workshop, register for the “Time for Empathy” event here: https://www.empathiceurope.com/time-for-empathy/\nNOTE: Register only ONCE for the whole event and participate live in all “Time for Empathy” workshops organised between 1 and 8 March 2026.\n About the trainer:\nGesine is a CNVC-certified trainer and a Montessori-certified teacher, living in Bristol, UK. Since 2015 she has been facilitating NVC events in the UK, India, USA and Germany. Gesine is passionate about her work and how it encourages self development, deepening compassionate connection with self and others, conflict resolution and community building. When she is not working, Gesine enjoys being out in nature whether that is going for walks, wild swims or doing creative projects in the garden.\n\n\n\n\nGesine says: “I really love to be connected with like-minded people – here and globally – and co-create a world where everyone’s needs matter. It’s so enriching and diverse.”\nLink to my website: seedofpeace.org ( http://seedofpeace.org/ )\n\n\n\n
