SUMMARY:Leading with Heart. Conscious Leadership in Times of Fragmentation – Paulina Orbitowska-Fernandez
DESCRIPTION:“We are dangerous when we are not conscious of our responsibility\nfor how we behave, think, \nand feel.”\nDr. Marshall B. Rosenberg,\nthe founder of the Centre for Nonviolent Communication\nIn deed, we are dangerous, especially when we are leaders. Self-awareness for me is powerful way how to prevent potential harm we do to others and to ourselves when we have an access to power.\nThis session is an invitation for you to explore different paradigms of leadership that exist in a world and in you.\nI am away from discussion what’s right and what’s wrong. At the same time deep in my heart there is a dream of a leadership that truly incarnates power-with qualities. I studied Political Science, being inspired by the leaders from the Polish and international history. I also worked as a leader, now support other leaders. From both my studies and experience I can see how much courage is needed to be conscious of our responsibilities. How easy it is sometimes to blame, to disconnect from ourselves and from others, to use the power and make my way. And I do acknowledge they all are tragic expressions of one’s needs. That is why I am so active supporting leaders to become more conscious.\nOne of my favorite leadership teachers, Otto Scharmer, says:\n“We need leaders who are not just concerned about where they are going but are also dedicated to the collective journey of all.”\nYes, we need conscious leaders who are aware not only of the organizational and their personal goals. We need leaders who are aware of the holistic view of All.\nPossible? I hope…\nThis session is for everyone, not only for those who are formal leaders. \nWhen: 8 March 2026, 9:45-11:15 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nLanguage: English\nCost: Participating in the “Time for Empathy” sessions LIVE is, as always, free. However, if you would like to have access to the recordings, you are welcome to buy them – a special offer is available while registering for the event. Please note that not all workshops will be recorded. We will do our best to indicate which ones will.\nThis session will be RECORDED.\nNot willing to be on recordings? If you do not wish to be recorded, turn off your camera and microphone for the entire duration of the session. Recorded sessions will be available for purchase. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media.\nRegistration: \nTo take part in this workshop, register for the “Time for Empathy” event here: https://www.empathiceurope.com/time-for-empathy/\nNOTE: Register only ONCE for the whole event and participate live in all “Time for Empathy” workshops organised between 1 and 8 March 2026.\n About the trainer:\nPaulina holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and completed postgraduate studies in Leadership in Education and Nonviolent Communication, alongside “Train the Trainer” NVC training and Business & Life Coaching education in Warsaw. She has worked in universities and schools in Mexico City and Warsaw and, since 2017, has delivered numerous trainings for NGOs, businesses, educators, medical professionals and parents in the fields of empathic and nonviolent communication.\nShe is certified trainer of NCV, coach, mentor,  mediator, eduScrum trainer, Resonant Healing Practitioner, MindSonar analyst and an academic teacher.\nHer interdisciplinary practice integrates NVC with interpersonal neurobiology, systemic transformation approaches and tools supporting leadership, teams and individual clients. She is also engaged in nonprofit and educational initiatives promoting empathic communication in Europe, including Erasmus+ related trainings and collaboration with the Mudita Foundation.\nThrough her work, she continues to advocate for a more compassionate, inclusive and dialogic world, believing that empathy is a key driver of meaningful personal, organizational and societal change.\n
