DESCRIPTION:How do we fill our cups up when with every piece of news the world seems to be in worse shape than the day before?\nLet’s explore together living in that quality of energy and empathic presence that transcends the challenges, difficulties and short reserves of caring, kindness and connection.\n \n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2026]\n\nWhen: 3 March 2026, 16:30-18:00 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nLanguage: English\nCost: Participating in the “Time for Empathy” sessions LIVE is, as always, free. However, if you would like to have access to the recordings, you are welcome to buy them – a special offer is available while registering for the event. Please note that not all workshops will be recorded.\nThis workshop will be RECORDED.\nNot willing to be on recordings? If you do not wish to be recorded, turn off your camera and microphone for the entire duration of the session. Recorded sessions will be available for purchase. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media.\n \nRegistration: \nTo take part in this workshop, register for the “Time for Empathy” event here: https://www.empathiceurope.com/time-for-empathy/\nNOTE: Register only ONCE for the whole event and participate live in all “Time for Empathy” workshops organised between 1 and 8 March 2026.\n \nAbout the trainer:\nSylvia has been a CNVC (Center for Nonviolent Communication) Certified Trainer since 1989 and is an assessor/advocate for the next generation of certified trainers.\nShe received her undergraduate degree in nutrition from the University of Texas Allied Health Science Center at Houston and her masters degree in Speech and Communication Studies from San Francisco State University.\nSylvia is a co-founder and a team member of the CALF program (Candidates/Community Active Learning Forum) which offers online classes as well as in person training around the world. She is the author of Eat by Choice, Not by Habit and a contributing author to Healing Our Planet Healing Our Selves. As her friend and colleague, Del Jones said (z’l), “Sylvia cares about what goes into your mouth and what comes out of it!” She lives in Tucson, AZ, USA with her beloved husband, Tim. They enjoy supporting stray dogs and bicycle riding.\n
