SUMMARY:Introduction to Gratitude Walk and Needs Meditation – Joachim Berggren
DESCRIPTION:Our experience is shaped by our physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs. Attending to these needs supports personal growth, which in turn fosters positive change in our communities.\nYet awareness alone isn’t enough. Without practice, information quickly leads to stagnation. Research shows that consistent, guided practice is key to forming new habits and sustaining personal transformation – something that can be challenging alone or in small groups.\nThat’s why, during Time for Empathy, we offer ongoing practices designed to cultivate needs awareness. Two of these practices are led by Joachim Berggren:\n\n\nGratitude Walk: A guided practice in gratitude. You are welcome to join outdoors by walking, or participate comfortably from home.\n\n\nNeeds Meditation: A daily guided meditation focused on tuning into your needs – both when they are unmet and when they are fulfilled.\n\n\nIn this workshop, Joachim will present some of the basics and concepts behind these practices and guide you through two shortened versions so you can experience them firsthand.\nDownload this free Needs Meditation PDF now and start exploring it whenever it suits you.\n[Workshop organised in the frame of Time for Empathy 2026]\nWhen: 2 March 2026, 11:30-13:00 CET (Berlin time)\nHow: ONLINE on ZOOM\nLanguage: English\nCost: Participating in the “Time for Empathy” sessions LIVE is, as always, free. However, if you would like to have access to the recordings, you are welcome to buy them – a special offer is available while registering for the event. Please note that not all workshops will be recorded.\nThis session will be RECORDED.\nNot willing to be on recordings? If you do not wish to be recorded, turn off your camera and microphone for the entire duration of the session. Recorded sessions will be available for purchase. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media.\nRegistration: \nTo take part in this workshop, register for the “Time for Empathy” event here: https://www.empathiceurope.com/time-for-empathy/\nNOTE: Register only ONCE for the whole event and participate live in all “Time for Empathy” workshops organised between 1 and 8 March 2026.\n\nAbout the trainer:\nJoachim Berggren\nJoachim is a certified trainer by the Center for Nonviolent Communication and a Mindfulness Instructor. He is passionate about the human potential for growth and development. He combines needs awareness and insights about individual and group evolution into a novel framework that includes all parts of reality that embraces all human expressions.\nJoachim is part of the Empathic Way Europe team, that organises Time for Empathy.\n
