4 steps in NVC
If you are interested in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), you probably have heard about the four steps: 1) observations, 2) feelings, 3) needs and 4) requests.
Even though using them is not the main aim of Nonviolent Communication, especially when we want to build connection with others, it is good to know them. They help us stay on the track and not to fall into criticism, generalisations and judgements. They support focusing on what is really important instead of on who is guilty or who is right and who is wrong.
It doesn’t matter if you are completely new to NVC or if you already have some knowledge and experience, we are inviting you to our 4 webinars in November.
Each week we will speak about one step. There will be some theory, examples and time for your questions. Each webinar will be a bit different and you can take part in all of them or pick up one of your main interest:
6 November 2020, 19:00-20:00 CET Step 1: How to divorce observations from interpretations
13 November 2020, 19:00-20:00 CET Step 2: Feelings as pointers to what’s important to us and others
20 November 2020, 19:00-20:00 CET Step 3: Cherishing the beauty of needs
27 November 2020, 19:00-20:00 CET Step 4: Powerful requests
6, 13, 20 and 27 November 2020, 19:00-20:00 (CET)

CNVC Certified Trainer
I am an NVC trainer supporting people in creating satisfying life and relations (personal and professional) through individual training and group workshops deepening communication skills. I help in implementing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in companies, non-governmental organisations and at home. My work is based not only on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) created by Marshall B. Rosenberg, but also on non-formal learning methods and on Coaching for Transformation approach. I founded Empathic Way and Empathic Way Europe, through which I promote Nonviolent Communication and teach honest and clear self-expression and listening to others with respect and empathy. Besides, I am the author of the online course “Four steps to a better relationship with others and myself” (at the moment only in Polish). I got to know Nonviolent Communication in 2010 and has been delivering workshops since 2013 for example for: WTW Services, Stanley Black & Decker, Interdisciplinary Division for Energy Analyses, McCormick, Fundacja Konsumentów, Empowering Children Foundation, Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH), EY Foundation, etc. Website: www.empathicway.pl
CNVC Certified Trainer, Coach, eduScrum Trainer, an academic teacher
I am an NVC trainer supporting families, schools, business and organizations, through workshops, lectures or individually. The way we communicate has an impact on our personal and professional relations. I support people in leveraging the quality of them so they can enjoy more honesty and empathy in their professional and private lives. I also facilitate systemic transformation through Nonviolent Communication, neurobiology, and 3d-mapping inspired by and following the teachings of Sarah Peyton being in a constant awe for how much healing her work brings. When I heard the words of Marshall Rosenberg “Connect before correct” for the first time I imagined how the world would look like if we could remember them more often. What I do is rooted in that dream. I have finished postgraduate studies in Leadership in Education, Nonviolent Communication according to Marshall Rosenberg and Train the Trainer of Nonviolent Communication studies, at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, Poland. I have also finished Business and Life Coaching at the School of Empathic Trainers in Warsaw. I am a mother of a teenage boy who is my source of love and wisdom. CNVC Certified Trainer and communication consultant
I work with groups and individuals who want to be able to communicate better and build sustainable connections in their family, with their friends, at their workplace and in the bigger community. I am offering lectures, workshops, mediation and individual training online and in person. I came into contact with NVC in 2005 and in 2009/2010 I participated in my first annual program with Friare Liv (Liv Larsson and Kay Rung). I have participated in a wide range of NVC workshops both in Sweden and abroad. Since 2010, I have been sharing and teaching NVC myself. In 2017, I became a certified NVC trainer by CNVC. My main focus within NVC has been to teach the NVC fundamentals, community building and to organize major events, such as the European and the Swedish NVC festivals. What captivates my interest lately is how we humans develop both as individuals and groups and how this evolutionary drive affects our ability to learn and integrate NVC into our lives.
