Irmtraud Kauschat – How do I deal with authority/authorities?
We meet people with labels that suggest that they are authorities, like parent, boss, police officer, teacher, trainer, assessor. At the same time, I might also be perceived as an authority myself. How do I navigate being in these different positions? Which needs do I (try to) meet by my strategies? How can I meet people on eye-level? We will explore this together.
When: 11 March 2023, 11:30-13:00 CET (Berlin time)

About the trainer:
Irmtraud Kauschat
I grew up in post-war Germany with guilt and shame about our history. NVC supported me to differentiate between guilt/shame and responsibility. It is out of this responsibility and being inspired by Marshall’s work that I chose to share NVC in regions of conflict like Israel/Palestine, Kenya, Ukraine and Somalia to support reconciliation and social change. It is important to me to contribute to a world where everybody’s needs matter, to get to know about the privileges I have and to be curious how I can use them in a collaborative way with people who have less access to resources.
