Taming inner critic with empathy Time for Empathy

Taming inner critic with empathy

If you grew up hearing criticism or that nothing you did was good enough, your inner dialogue may not know what it feels like to be welcomed with warmth and love – just as you are. We will make empathy guesses to name needs that the voice in your head is trying to meet when it is critical of you and hold them with curiosity and care.
Join us in a process of befriending inner critic and listening to its wisdom.

About the trainers:
Lori DelaneyLori Delaney, PT, DPT, MHA is a NVC certification candidate and nonprofit executive coach. As the executive director for Tichenor Clinic for Children for over 27 years, Lori has led a team of exceptional people to deliver compassionate, respectful and supportive services. She believes that children of all abilities deserve the opportunity to reach their potential and participate in their community. Lori started practicing NVC 10 years ago. With grant and donor funding, Lori helped bring NVC training to the families at the Clinic. Children with different abilities and their families have the same universal need for empathy, connection and warmth. Whether in the work environment, in relationships, or working with children, Lori enjoys designing sessions that bring warmth, kindness, and curiosity to learning NVC. She is passionate about living with compassion and accompanying each other on this journey of healing and growth.
Magdalena Kosinska-KlaehnMagdalena Kosinska-Klaehn, PhD is an NVC Certification Candidate, Empathic Coach and Mediator in training, on a journey toward Certification in Resonant Healing by Sarah Peyton. She is passionate about healing that is possible for every human being and accompanies people on their journey within. She wants to help in welcoming more warmth in the relationships, especially between parents and children. The well-being of kids is very dear to her heart. Her dream is to bring knowledge about children’s development and compassion to parents to break the cycle of a generational, punitive parenting and bring collaborative, nonviolent consciousness to the families. Happier, more aware parents lead to happier, more resilient children. She is a mum of three children – the best teachers on her journey toward nonviolent life. She created Empathically Empowered (www.facebook.com/empathicallyempowered) – a space where you can find inspiration for learning, healing and living compassionately.
