The ARENA for successful communication

The ARENA for successful communication

This is a workshop consisting of 2 parts, each 1,5 hours long. You are invited to participate in both parts, either during the evening edition: 20 and 22 April at 18:30-20:00, or during the morning edition:  25 and 26 April at 9:00-10:30.
Part 1 The ARENA
The first Part is about how we behave, why and how to make more conscious choices there. The ARENA is a model that shows our different communication styles, called Aggressive, Assertive and Passive. I made the model to easier visualize the way we act and react to power and fear, getting acceptance from myself or others. In this workshop you will look at what results can be created by different way of acting. We will also look at how we learn these styles as children as means to survive and growing up and why we keep them as adults, if not being aware and challenge this.
Part 2 How Human Needs and Feelings support you staying in The ARENA
During this Part I will explain the basics of NVC and why we need this to handle us in The ARENA. NVC supports you to dare being yourself when handling challenges in life. To stay on The ARENA and build relations and progress.
During this online workshop:
– I will present you The ARENA and NVC to you.
– You will participate in full group and small group (breakout rooms).
– You will work in small groups of three or pairs, twice, to talk about the matter, with some questions as support.
– A final closure together.
After the workshop I will send you some writing and tips how to learn more.
