Time for honesty
Stand up for what is precious to you!
First edition took place on 25-31 March 2019. The next one in 2020!
It consisted of online and offline events promoting Nonviolent Communication and honest self-expression offered by trainers from all over the world! You could learn empathic communication, make friends with honesty, get in a real contact with your needs and become part of NVC community which inspires and supports each other!
Our motto? Let’s spread honesty together by offering free events connected to Nonviolent Communication (NVC). It can be a lecture organized in a local library, an NVC introductory workshop, online one-on-one session, webinar or offering empathic listening in a cafe. Every idea to spread honesty and Nonviolent Communication is welcome!
The first edition of the project happened from 25 to 31 March 2019. Next one in 2020!
Are you a trainer spreading empathic communication?
We invited trainers to offer a workshop, lecture or other kind of event that met following criteria:
- The topic was connected to Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
- It took place between 25.03.2019 and 31.03.2019.
- There was no cost for participants other that sharing cost of the working room, if needed.
- The event was preferably in English, but we invited trainers to organize something in their language as well!
We collected all offers and published them on this website. Besides, we were offering our technical support, if needed (ZOOM, Facebook Group, etc.). This way we could create an international network and support each other in reaching more people.
What kind of event could you add?
You could organize a local event in your town. It ccould be anything connected to Nonviolent Communication: introductory workshop, lecture, presentation, empathic table in a café or informal meeting with people who are interested in the topic of honesty.
You could offer an online session to people living all over the world. It could be an individual or group training, short lecture/webinar, coaching or offering empathy. It depended only on the trainer.
Why to offer something for free?
Maybe you wonder if it is worth it – investing your time and resources…
If you want to have impact on what’s happening in the world and contribute to the well-being of people by sharing your knowledge and experience, then yes!
Below you can find some of the benefits of participating in this project as a trainer or a facilitator:
Giving and receiving
Your voluntary work will contribute to making NVC more accessible and visible. This way we can change the world bit by bit and benefit from more satisfying relationships.
We see this project as a platform where we can support each other in our mission and in the future we can continue our cooperation by organizing projects on a bigger scale.
Thanks to this project you may present what you do to the wider audience and become more recognized on the European level.
We hope that the idea of this project and seeing offerings of other trainers will stimulate your creativity and invite you to try something innovative.
Reaching new people
Together we can reach more people! We will promote this project on a variety of social platforms and you can do it as well. There are so many people that have never heard about NVC yet!
We want to make it easy for you to offer an online event. So, if you need, we can provide the technical support. Write us an e-mail and we will figure out how to proceed.
About the organizers
Peace and Conflict Researcher, Soulpreneur, Singer-Songwriter
I got to know NVC in 2008 and since then I am on the path of constantly practicing, sharing, creating and co-creating. I work mainly in the “online-world”, offering online-communication-trainings on topics like parenthood, shame/guilt/vulnerability, small inspired steps… I also offer one-on-one compassion sessions, monthly group sessions called LAB. I create a lot of free content as “mini-inspirations” for reminding that you have all the qualities inside you need to create a life and relationships you truly want and that we are all imperfectly perfect. One of my biggest passions and learning field is facilitating conflicts with Restorative Circles and mediation a la nvc. I like to be supportive in seeing conflicts as part of being alive and as a chance to explore something beautiful and important, not as something we have to reject and be fearful of. NVC for me is peacework, knowledge and wisdom combined, a language of all senses, consciousness-training. It is a tool for me to stay on my path, be open for the challenges of life and be present in every encounter I experience. I am mother of two boys (5 and 9). Being part of the Empathic Way Europe Project fulfills many needs like co-creation, contribution, adventure, community, peace. I am on the path to CNVC certification. Trainer of empathic communication, life-coach
I support people in creating satisfying life and relationships (personal and professional) through individual trainings and group workshops deepening communication skills. I help in implementing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in relationships, companies and non-governmental organisations. My work is based not only on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) created by Marshall B. Rosenberg, but also on non-formal learning methods and on Coaching for Transformation approach. I founded Empathic Way (www.empathicway.pl), through which I promote NVC and teach honest and clear self-expression and listening to others with respect and empathy. Empathic Way Europe is a project that I started because I love working in English and want to reach people living in the whole Europe. I run the Warsaw Empathy Group, I offer training courses and individual support. I am the author of the online course “Four steps to a better relationship with others and myself” (at the moment only in Polish). I got to know NVC in 2010. I am on the path to CNVC certification.
