Empathic regret and reconciliation with myself – Irmtraud Kauschat

Empathic regret and reconciliation with myself – Irmtraud Kauschat

What do I regret, would have liked to do differently?
Which needs did I try to meet by acting like I acted?
Empathizing with my judging parts instead of blaming myself.

About the trainer:
Irmtraud KauschatIrmtraud Kauschat
I grew up in post-war Germany with guilt and shame about our history. NVC supported me to differentiate between guilt/shame and responsibility. It is out of this responsibility and being inspired by Marshall’s work that I chose to share NVC in regions of conflict like Israel/Palestine, Kenya, Ukraine, Rwanda, and Somalia to support reconciliation and social change. It is important to me to contribute to a world where everybody’s needs matter, to get to know about the privileges I have and to be curious how I can use them in a collaborative way with people who have less access to resources.
