Integrating Empathy – through the Matrix

Integrating Empathy – through the Matrix

What if you had a GPS system to help you navigate your NVC skills?
Think about it – if you had it, you would have a more precise awareness of your present NVC skills and be able to see the next step in your learning curve!
Most trainings in empathy are based on listening to someone with our full attention, maybe guessing the feelings and needs that person might experience. Or we node or have eye contact to express that we are with the person talking. This is some perspectives of learning skills of empathy. I would like to present, and dive into, another way of our learning – through the lens of the Pathways to Liberation Matrix.
The matrix addresses skills we can develop to make changes in our lives and in our relationships, with the aim of creating a world of personal and systemic well-being and cooperation. These are tools for understanding different perspectives and developing self-awareness, self-responsibility, choice, and more perceived freedom. In this workshop we explore how we can go from unskilled, to awakening to capable, to integrating the skills of empathy.
