Meeting myself to meet the other: self-empathy as a key for authentic relating – Elzytė Vareikytė

Meeting myself to meet the other: self-empathy as a key for authentic relating – Elzytė Vareikytė

Through NVC and living compassion-based practises I invite you to explore how self-empathy can become a path for deeper connection with others and the surrounding world.
In a safe environment, we will try to meet and welcome resistance in order to reach the deeper layer of ourselves. How can welcoming resistance help us to connect to our authentic being? How can we bring more “wholesomeness” to our relationships?
The workshop would be the most beneficial for people who are already familiar with the basics of NVC and wish to go deeper into the exploration of the world of feelings and needs. In a slow paced session, we’ll cultivate a space for compassion, peace, and a deeper connection to your own inner wisdom.

Elzytė VareikytėElzytė Vareikytė
I am Elzytė – a passionate learner, lover and listener. With 10 years of experience in working in education, I am now on a personal journey of unschooling myself — rediscovering my authenticity and seeing the world for what it truly is. I only share what I’ve experienced through, believing that real learning comes from lived moments of insight.
I discovered Nonviolent Communication (NVC) 5 years ago and it has profoundly transformed my relationships with others and myself. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in the daily practice of “living empathy, taking and assisting multiple courses and most recently completing a facilitator training with my beloved teacher Yoram Mosenzon. I’ve led NVC-based workshops and one-on-one sessions in the Netherlands, Spain, Lithuania and India.
Currently, I divide my time between Europe and India, embracing a slow life in simplicity and presence. Interested in community building, practicing meditation, appreciating nature.
