One way to describe Nonviolent Communication is as a needs-aware approach to life. Communicating our needs can be seen as one of many strategies to fulfil needs. In this workshop, I will present five levels and five directions of needs. The five levels are how we develop our capacity to meet needs throughout life. The five directions are our main ways to fulfil our needs. The workshop is a mix of theory and practice in the whole group and in breakout rooms.

Most of the workshops during “Time for Empathy” are not recorded, so the only possibility to take part in it is to join the session. The sessions that will be recorded, we will make available to others if the quality is satisfying. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media. If you do not wish to be recorded, switch off your camera and microphone for the whole duration of the session.
