Be there. 3 keys to empathy
Empathy is never words
– said Marshall Rosenberg, the founder of Nonviolent Communication.
When I first started to learn Nonviolent Communication, during an exchange I had with a seasoned trainer, I experienced the power of empathy. It was so beautiful and enlivening and I wanted more of it. I also wanted to share it with others. But as I was learning, it sounded so mechanical and artificial… This was in 2008. Since then, NVC has become my way of living – both personally and professionally, as I now make a living sharing NVC.
What I discovered over the years is that when learning empathy, you can take different points of view. You can listen to what people say, you can explore how they say it, or you can tap into where they say it from.
This online workshop focuses on the inner space we empathize from. How we can connect to it, relax into it and nurture our capacity to empathize. Because, truly, there is nothing to do.
In this workshop, through meditation and practices, we will explore the 3 keys I discovered, that help access this inner space beyond words. And finally, we will look at when words are helpful and how to use them, so that they sound naturally.
I’ll be offering this particular experience for the first time online. I’m excited and also not knowing how it’s going to unfold. I welcome you to join me in this exploration.
When: 22 April 2020, 10:00-12:00 (CEST)

About the trainer:
Agnieszka Rzewuska-Paca – an NVC trainer (since 2014), a psychologist and a coach, she works with people who want to live consciously, with schools with a heart and organizations with a soul.
She is a free spirit with a great appetite for life. Seeker of meaning and life fulfillment, stemming from deep connection to her own power. She is convinced that every person has a sage inside, who knows what is best for them. Her passion is to support people in connecting to their inner sages and wisdom.
She loves sharing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as a living, embodied experience, which allows you to integrate these tools and philosophy faster in your life.
Going beyond the individual perspective, she is fascinated by the interplay of the personal, the interpersonal and the systemic.
Her other passion is bringing NVC into education – since 2014 she’s been working with an NVC kindergarten and nursery in Warsaw, as well as offering workshops for teachers. She has also co-created and run a first gap-year program for youth 18-25 in Poland, aiming at supporting young people in re-discovering their gifts and crafting a life journey, which is a manifestation of who they really are.
She combines embodiment with great intellectual clarity and insightfulness, drawing from different approaches, i.e. Theory U / Social Presencing Theater (she completed an advanced course for SPT practitioners), Zen-Coaching (she is a certified zen-coach), Jesper Juul Family Lab (she completed the Family Lab trainer program), Internal Family System, Focusing and conscious dance practices (5 Rhythms, Movement Medicine).
You can also still join the gift-based online learning program, which runs between April 1st and June 30th: www.facebook.com/groups/NVCwithAga
