Connecting when triggered – free webinar
When you already know the basics of Nonviolent Communication, the theoretical part seems quite easy. You know how to listen, how to formulate requests, how to share what is alive in you without blaming or criticising others, etc. There is a lot of hope in you and you start noticing how your relations are more and more harmonious.
However, probably there are still moments when you are so pissed off that you forget about NVC and go back to your old habits, or when you have an impression that “NVC is not working”. You might start feeling overwhelmed or frustrated and lose motivation to continue changing the way you communicate with others.
During this webinar, we would like to share with you some tips about how to stay in contact with yourself and others even when you are triggered. We will focus on:
– how to address the resistance in you during difficult conversations,
– how to acknowledge the complexity of your feelings and needs,
– how to treat triggering situations as an opportunity for connecting to the needs,
– what does it mean to stay vulnerable,
– how to work with the part of you that is triggered.
There will be also time for your questions.

About the trainers:
Peace and Conflict Researcher, Soulpreneur, Singer-Songwriter
I got to know NVC in 2008 and since then I am on the path of practising, sharing, creating and co-creating. After building an online community (it is more a Gang actually) for 6 years, working in the field of conflict facilitation and as a coach, I was working for the Civil Peace Service in Nepal.
NVC for me is peacework, knowledge and wisdom combined, a language of all senses, consciousness-training. It is a tool for me to stay on my path, be open to the challenges of life and be present in every encounter I experience. I am the mother of two boys. Being part of the Empathic Way Europe fulfils many needs like co-creation, contribution, adventure, community, peace.
CNVC Certified Trainer
I am an NVC trainer supporting people in creating satisfying life and relations (personal and professional) through individual training and group workshops deepening communication skills. I help in implementing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in companies, non-governmental organisations and at home. My work is based not only on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) created by Marshall B. Rosenberg, but also on non-formal learning methods and on Coaching for Transformation approach.
I founded Empathic Way and Empathic Way Europe, through which I promote Nonviolent Communication and teach honest and clear self-expression and listening to others with respect and empathy. Empathic Way Europe is a project that I started because I love working in English and want to reach people living in the whole of Europe. Besides, I am the author of the online course “Four steps to a better relationship with others and myself” (at the moment only in Polish). I got to know Nonviolent Communication in 2010 and has been delivering workshops since 2013 for example for: WTW Services, Stanley Black & Decker, Interdisciplinary Division for Energy Analyses, McCormick, Fundacja Konsumentów, Empowering Children Foundation, Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH), EY Foundation, etc.
