This week Joachim Berggren will have a conversation with Sarah Dekker about the need of Creativity.
Sarah writes: Were you ever told when you were growing up that you were such a creative person? Or perhaps you found yourself telling people that you totally sucked at art? The word creative is often used as a label, as a positive attribute some people were either born with or not. What if creativity is a longing we all have? What if creativity naturally arises when practicing NVC? What if creativity is a natural characteristic of the flow of your very essence, the one you truly are?
Sarah Dekker is passionate about integrating Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with embodied spirituality. Her workshops offer ways to cultivate daily practices for living life fully and authentically, deeply grounded in compassion for one’s self and others. Working with people from all over the world, from all walks of life, Sarah combines NVC with Dyad meditation, Internal Family Systems Therapy, bodywork and psychedelic assisted therapy. Together with her partner and fellow CNVC trainer Nic Burnand she founded Compassionate Self.
