Drowning in Guilt? Move Beyond Self-Judgments with Empathy – Aleksandra Dobrzańska
Do you sometimes struggle with guilt, feeling trapped in self-judgment or weighed down by expectations of what you should or shouldn’t have done? In this interactive 1.5-hour workshop, we will explore guilt as a mechanism for avoiding shame and examine how cultural norms — especially those surrounding anger — shape our experience of these emotions.
Using Liv Larsson’s Compass of Needs, we will engage in practical self-exploration, identifying the limiting beliefs that keep us disconnected from our needs. Through guided individual reflection and empathic pair work, participants will learn how to transform self-judgment into self-understanding and connection with their values.
This session is designed for individuals with basic skills in empathic listening and recognizing feelings and needs. If you are ready to shift from self-criticism to self-compassion, join us in this safe space for reflection, connection, and growth.
Most workshops during “Time for Empathy” are not recorded, so the only possibility of participating is to join the session. The sessions that will be recorded, we will make available to others if the quality is satisfying. We may also use parts of the recording for marketing and publicity across various media. If you do not wish to be recorded, switch off your camera and microphone for the whole duration of the session.
NOTE: Register only ONCE for the whole event and receive access to all “Time for Empathy” workshops organised between 2 and 9 March 2025.
