First Generation NVCers Invite You to Gather: “The Nonviolent Communication Book of Quotes”

On the 8th of November 2023, First Generation NVCers are organising a gathering during which they will share quotes from the recent book “The Nonviolent Communication Book of Quotes” which Julie Stiles compiled. These quotes are from Marshall Rosenberg’s workshops, books and trainings and organisers would like to discuss them in the community to continue to deepen their collective understanding and learning and continue the conversation.

We, Empathic Way Europe, are happy to share this event with you as we wish that more people can join and benefit from this gathering.

All certified trainers, candidates and friends of NVC are welcome.

About First Generation NVCers

We are those who were first certified by Marshall before 1990. We refer to ourselves as First Generation NVCers. We have created https://sites.google.com/view/firstgennvcers/  website because we are excited to share what we learned directly from Marshall over the span of several decades. As trainers we have heard a desire from NVC practitioners to understand what was stirred in Marshall in the creation of and sharing these teachings with the world and in the history of Marshall’s work.

We trust we have something to contribute to those who are interested in deepening their understanding of the roots of NVC, that which we originally received from Marshall. 

We also want to tell our personal stories about our experiences with Marshall, in his trainings, as his colleagues and in our personal connections with him.

We want to share our understanding about how CNVC was founded and developed.  We are closely connected to the origins and growth of NVC and CNVC as many of us have been board members, developers of the certification process, assessors and support of the organization in a myriad of ways.
