Closeness – Zoom Talk with Cara Crisler
Welcome to Week 49 of the Needs’ Year!
This week Joachim Berggren will have a conversation with Cara Crisler about the need for Closeness.
Cara Crisler, of Crisler Coaching & Consulting, is a CNVC certified trainer, an EMCC accredited senior-level coach, and also serves as mediator and facilitator. Originally from the U.S., she’s been living in the Netherlands since 2010, supporting individuals, couples and teams. She’s specialized in creating safe spaces for honest dialogues, conflict transformation, collaborative learning and inclusive decision-making processes. She enjoys making contact: www.crislercoaching.com.
Cara writes: “A very big shift happened in my body when I realized the difference between closeness with other humans and closeness as an inner experience. I was expressing my need for closeness as the former, which was inadvertently putting pressure on others – to be a certain way, to be available for me, to be close to me! So this question, “what is closeness within myself?” became a very intriguing one that took a lot of exploration in order to try things out and learn what this new experience could be and bring me.”
