“We are dangerous when we are not conscious of our responsibility
for how we behave, think,
and feel.”
Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg,
the founder of the Centre for Nonviolent Communication
In deed, we are dangerous, especially when we are leaders. Self-awareness for me is powerful way how to prevent potential harm we do to others and to ourselves when we have an access to power.
This session is an invitation for you to explore different paradigms of leadership that exist in a world and in you.
I am away from discussion what’s right and what’s wrong. At the same time deep in my heart there is a dream of a leadership that truly incarnates power-with qualities. I studied Political Science, being inspired by the leaders from the Polish and international history. I also worked as a leader, now support other leaders. From both my studies and experience I can see how much courage is needed to be conscious of our responsibilities. How easy it is sometimes to blame, to disconnect from ourselves and from others, to use the power and make my way. And I do acknowledge they all are tragic expressions of one’s needs. That is why I am so active supporting leaders to become more conscious.
One of my favorite leadership teachers, Otto Scharmer, says:
“We need leaders who are not just concerned about where they are going but are also dedicated to the collective journey of all.”
Yes, we need conscious leaders who are aware not only of the organizational and their personal goals. We need leaders who are aware of the holistic view of All.
Possible? I hope…
This session is for everyone, not only for those who are formal leaders.
